Tommy Stone
Tommy Stone is the most recent addition to the Pinecrest pastoral staff. As Associate Pastor, he leads the children and youth ministries, following God's call on his life to work with young people.
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, and a graduate of Baptist University of America, Tommy accepted Christ as his Saviour at a summer youth camp at 15, and surrendered to preach at the age of 16. His work with youth began in 1982 and, throughout his ministry, he has led youth choirs, summer camps, winter retreats, Vacation Bible School, various children's ministries, and taken numerous teen missions trips.
Tommy and his wife, Donna, have four children -- T.J., Amber, Lauren and Tyler. The Stones reside in McDonough.
Joshua & Trisha Denham have been married for 2 1/2 years and reside in McDonough with their black labrador, Mauli. Josh is a Senior Analyst for the Treasury Department at Delta Air Lines, and will soon be receiving his MBA in Finance from Georgia State University (GSU) in May 2005. Trisha graduated from GSU in May 2002 with a BBA in Finance and has worked for Ernst & Young, LLP as a Tax Consultant.
Trisha has been an active member at Pinecrest Baptist Church since she was 10 years old working in different areas of the church. Josh joined Pinecrest in 2001 and has enjoyed doing the worship music for the teens. We've enjoyed working with the teens the past 2 years and we believe that teen years are some of the most critical times in our lives. The decisions we make during our teen years have a real impact on the rest of our lives. Working with the teens gives us an opportunity to be a positive influence for some one else's future.

Steve & Janelle Butler have been active members of Pinecrest Baptist Church for 4 years and have worked with the teens the past 2 years. They have chaperoned several teen camps, ski trips and other teen adventures. It is their wish to see teenagers get excited about their relationship with Jesus Christ and about being Christians. They have been married for 8 years and have 1 daughter, McKenzie. Steve is an Associate Broker with Groveland Realty and Janelle is taking time off from her teaching career to stay home with their daughter.

Todd & Jody Wentz - I live in McDonough with my wife of 3-1/2 years, Jody, and my 19 month old daughter, Emma. I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2000 and I have been working for a Building Products company named BlueLinx for the last 5 years. I have been a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church my entire life and my wife and I have been working with the teenagers at Pinecrest since December 2000. Jody graduated from the University of Georgia in 1999 with a degree in Physical education. She taught P.E at Norcross Elementary for 3 years before leaving to become a fulltime mom to our daughter Emma. She joined Pinecrest in 1999. She possesses a compassionate heart for teenagers and desires to see young people mature into responsible Christian adults.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I believe that the Bible is God's inspired Word. I believe that Jesus came to earth, lived a perfect life, and was crucified for the world's sins. I believe that in order to gain eternity in heaven, all you must do is accept the free gift of salvation. It is a free gift that anyone, anywhere can accept at anytime simply by, "confessing with their mouth and believing in their heart" that they are a sinner and Christ died for their sins. I believe the life of a Christian is more fulfilling than any materialistic ideal the world can offer. And finally, I believe God's purpose for my life is to be a balanced Christian that daily invests time and energy in others so that I may inspirationally lead and significantly influence their lives for the cause of Christ.
